Our take
I picked up this 20 lb hex dumbbell from Iron Crush expecting good quality, but it's a mixed bag. The PVC coating feels a bit thin and might peel over time. The hex shape keeps it from rolling, and the handle knurling provides decent grip. However, the coating had a strong chemical smell out of the box. Also, the weight seems accurate, but the dumbbell feels slightly unbalanced. For around $33, it's okay, but I'd recommend spending a few extra dollars for a better-known brand. Not terrible, but not great either.
